Native trees and shrubs

Often, when it comes to the landscaping elements of Walt Disney World, they are overlooked throughout most of the year. During the warm spring months, the fruits of the hardworking men and women of Disney’s Horticulture team are honored and remembered during Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival. This showcase, however detailed its views are, always seems to leave guests missing out on just how fine a job these horticulturists work all year round all across property. In fact, there are horticulturalists working twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, somewhere on property.

In honor of their dedication to pruning the perfect palate for each corner of Walt Disney World, today the Gazette takes a look at various pieces of the horticulturalists’ handiwork throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the Magic Kingdom. So, please, stop for a moment and smell the roses, or whatever else they might have planted.
