Celebration of human ingenuity

Epcot is no stranger to quiet places to recharge your internal batteries; behind France, Japan’s gardens, and China’s pool are just a few of the areas that are well-suited to some downtime. Future World, as well, features some terrific parking break locations, if you know where to look.

In the fall of 2007, as Epcot was celebrating its twenty-fifth year, it opened the Epcot 25th Anniversary Gallery in Innoventions West. While the gallery has since shuttered its doors, it has given guests an unexpected gift, a quiet corridor place to revive their inner-child for Round 2, 3, or 10 of park touring, in air-conditioning. Not only can a guest restore their own composure, they also have access to a power outlet for whatever electronic needs they may have, although you would have to be fairly close to the ground to make use of this feature. If all of that were not enough to spark one into action, the Epcot 25th Anniversary Gallery has not only left behind a hushed space to occupy, but also the wall timeline of Epcot’s history. To bask in the history of Epcot, or to learn something new about Epcot’s record, while cooling off after a morning attack on Future World and preparing your touring strategy for World Showcase makes this a fantastic hallway to take advantage of. Oh, and did I mention the beverage samples of Coca-Cola products are just around the corner at Club Cool? Just a thought if your batteries are parched as well while you partake of Innoventions West's hospitality.
