Resplendent in Traditional Green

For a humble mouse, Mickey has worn an amazing amount of outfits over the years. Case in point, on St. Patrick’s Day in 1974, Mickey donned this leprechaun garb. To be fair, the Mouse is the perfect size to portray one of the Emerald Isle’s little people. Instead of leading the Walt Disney World Band down Main Street, wielding his baton, Mickey picked up a shillelagh, threw on his cap, and turned in the red and yellow for green and gold!

Although there are no signs of Darby O’Gill in the parade, I’m sure Mickey would want me to wish you the luck of the Irish as we approach St. Patrick’s Day this weekend!
