We’re mighty happy just to be with you

Situated in Fort Wilderness’ Pioneer Hall the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue will serve up more than enough fried chicken, ribs, corn, and strawberry shortcake to split your seams. Piled on top of that is enough laughter in the western style comedy show to split your sides. As if that weren’t enough, for the more detail oriented of us, the display outside offers more than its fair share of nuanced enticements. Let’s take a brief look, shall we.

Here we see some MT Boxes (go on, say it a few more times), a Magic Tunes Washboard (it has such a clean sound to it), and some provisions from Red Star, a mill in Kansas that was part of the consolidation in the flour industry that created General Mills Inc. in June of 1928.

We can see what crafty performers those Pioneer Hall Players are, not only are they smart enough to pack a crate upside-down, knowing that is the way it is going to be handled anyway, but they also serve Tickle BBQ Sauce, which obviously helps to get the laughs flowing.

What would a panhandler be without their pans, I ask you?

A few more MT Boxes, some more vittles, and some ladies luggage (you don’t think she’s a carpetbagger, do you?).

Oh one more thing. Asheville is my favorite place to see extremely rich hippies.... and eat shrimp & Grits. Holy smokes I'm screaming for them right now as we speak.

We're doing Hoop dee doo (or Hoppity Doopity as I like to call it! hehe) this September when we go, and I can't wait! I think we're going to have to get there early so I can take some photos of the outside area and explore after seeing this post...
I'm still dreaming about the chicken and the strawberry shortcake, though...mmm...
